2023 NOCCC Community Awards Nomination

North Omaha Community Care Council (NOCCC) will honor those who have demonstrated exceptional public service and dedication to the health and wellness of the North Omaha Community. The 2023 recipients will be honored during the 10th Annual Impact Luncheon.

This year's theme: “Stop the Violence: North Omaha Empowered, Engaged, and Equipped to Save, Protect, and Heal our Community”

Friday, November 3, 2023 from 11:30am-1pm at The Schenzel Community Center (formerly Hope Skate).

**The completed form must be submitted by October 15, 2023.**

Nominee Categories and Criteria

Spirit of Business Award- Presented to an organization

  • Provides services and/or consumer goods on a long-term, continuous basis to the people of North Omaha.

  • Has a documented history/record of going beyond the provision of goods and services and contributes financial support, employee personnel support and/or material resources to social causes and social service needs for the at-risk populations of North Omaha.

Spirit of Advocacy Award- Presented to an individual or an organization

  • Provides services and/or consumer goods on a long-term, continuous basis to the people of North Omaha that focus on meeting the social needs of the most at-risk populations.

  • Has a documented history/record of going above and beyond its primary mission and  collaborating with other members of the North Omaha not-for-profit organizations community to serve at-risk populations.

Spirit of Youth Award- Presented to a community youth group or an individual under the age of 21

  • Has a documented history/record of going above and beyond standard volunteerism and participation

  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity and dedication in helping the at-risk population in North Omaha.
